This is a hypothetical example of the TDI real-time charting methodology as it applies to the Swiss
Franc and this is a typical daily price movement. Each 1 point move is equal to $12.50. In this example, an
price movement indication was identified at a price of .7283
and a sell price movement indication at .7292 indicating a total gain of 9 points or $112.50 for each contract.
A student trading with just 3 contracts may have grossed $337.50 on this trade. A
student trading with 5 contracts may have grossed $562.00 on just this one trade. A
student trading with 10 contracts may have grossed $1124.00 on this trade. Most
brokerage firms require that you have approximately $1200.00 in an account in
order to trade 1 contract. A student can start out small with 1 or 2 contracts
and then look to use the profits, as they build up, to increase the number of
contracts traded. Notice the amount of daily movement that exists in the currency.
This is typical of the everyday movements in currencies. This is the
reason that identifying price movements in the currency markets is much easier
and much more practical than trying to do the same thing with a stock or an
option. This kind
of daily movement in stocks or options simply does not exist. Typically, once a
trade signal comes in, it often takes only about 5 to 10 minutes to begin seeing
a price movement. At TDI, we never hold positions overnight. We look to enter
and exit quickly. Our goal is to make trading quick, simple and with
minimum stress. If you have questions about

Any performance results listed and/or discussed on this site and in all marketing materials represent simulated computer results over past historical data and not the results of an actual account. Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors such as lack of liquidity. Simulated programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. Trading involves substantial risk and is not appropriate for everyone.
